The Buffalo
The buffalo looks noble and strong in pictures; massive hunting almost wiped them out.
The wild water bull weighs about 800 - 1200 kg (1800 - 2600 lb). The animal feeds grass and vegetation growing in or beside rivers and lakes. It can be found in the wet grasslands and marshes, near pools and wallows, and near large rivers.

The Buffalo -

These are diurnal animals in the areas where they are safe and protected. In the wild these animals live in herds. As a rule females live in herds with their young and the males gather in separate bachelor herds. The buffalo looks noble and strong in pictures; massive hunting almost wiped them out.
